flashback
speaking of the good old '80's and my dad sporting a magnum mustache. i remember i had gymnastics on thursday nights and magnum was on on thursday nights! well, my mom had to rush down to the school to pick me up during the commercials! i just remember having to be in a hurry so she could get back before she missed too much! oh the days before the DVR. that's how they lived without it.

Ah, memories. Magnum... loved him, and the ferrari and Higgins.
It's hard to imagine how we lived before dvr. When I'm at a hotel without it, I'm completely lost. What do you mean I can't pause or rewind. Those features are custom made for Moms who are perpetually interrupted by children!
I didn't know that mom, of all people, loved to watch Magnum P.I. That is interesting news to me. I do remember watching the show a few times, but I was young in the 80's, so its no surprise that I don't remember. As lainakay reminisced about the Ferrari and Higgins...I remember the two Doberman Pinschers that Higgins had that always scared Magnum or anyone that trespassed on Higgins property. Good times!!
i actually think mom was into magnum-not just the show but the guy!!!
Oooo magnum...the truth is I totally thought he was HOT too...still do.
